Questions asked by the client about the magazine:

Q: Where you going with a rock themed magazine?

A: The magazine will not be based solely on rock but that was just an example of a genre edition of the magazine.

I: From this i now understand I will need to make the theme of my magazine more clear to the market and choose a choice of colour/genre to then stick with, as it would be bad to keep changing them as this would confuse the market as well as make it harder for my magazine to become established in the future.

Q: How will the colour scheme work across the brand?

A: The colour scheme will be based on the main article of the magazine matching its genre.

I: From the question I now know using the main article of the magazine to pick the colour scheme of the magazine is the best way to go as it can match the genre theme of that main article as if not could confuse the reader or turn away customers who would be interested in that genre.

Q: Why did you use the font for your logo?

A: I used the font for my logo as its clear and bold why not being too tacky, its also slightly different from other brands and this could help the magazine stand out from the others and also help with the magazines brand awareness.

I: From the client asking the question I know the font is important to the brand identity and I should aim to keep the font changes to a minimum to achieve good brand awareness as if it changes to much the market won't be able to recognise the magazine.

Q: What Other staff will you need?

A: The other staff I will need for my magazine is a editor.

I: The client asked this and I realised I didn't have a key member of staff, the editor/writer they are key in the writing of the magazines articles and will be crucial in the production of the magazine. This would also require a chief editor to proof read the magazines text.

Q: Will just use photoshop or other software?

A: I will be using other software to produce my magazine, such as LogoJoy and excel.

I: This question highlighted to me I will be using ofter software then just photoshop, while photoshop is key to the editing of photos for the magazine and the editing of the front cover. I will also need to use the software LogoJoy as this was used in the creation of the magazine logo. Microsoft Excel software could also be used to create charts and graphs for the statistics for articles in the magazine.

Q:Why did you use the speech bubble with the point for the powerpoint design?

A: I used this for the powerpoint design as i think it mashes the Gig in terms of what the magazine does and is about as it looks like Location bubble pointing down at the venue and where it is located, so i believe it goes nicely into to theme and context of the magazine.

I: From this i now know, by using the PowerPoint slide image and turn it into my logo can be very good for my magazine and its brand image and it can make a easy identifier for my magazines brand and be easier for the target market to spot.

Q: What venues have destroyed habitats?

A: Alexandra Palace when it was built destroyed a large bit of a park.

I: In the future using this advice, i can then capitalise on this charity section of my magazine and make it more clear for the choice of charity and how it connects to my magazine.

What am i going to change based on the clients feedback?
